I have been a Denver real estate agent since 2012, and my love of Denver real estate began in my earliest days. I was born and raised in Denver, and I graduated from Colorado Academy, where I was exposed to some of the most gorgeous homes in the Denver real estate market, ranging from Genesee to Hilltop to Central Park to Castle Rock. Visiting my friend’s family homes was always one of my favorite activities, and now that I’m a Denver real estate agent, I can certainly trace my love of neighborhoods back to my high school years, maybe even earlier than that.
I started my career with the R&R Team at RE/MAX Professionals, and during my tenure, we were twice honored as a Top 10 Denver real estate team by the Denver Metro Association of Realtors® (DMAR). I was twice nominated by 5280 Magazine as a Rising Star in the Denver real estate market, and in late 2016, I left the team to pursue my own real estate goals. I joined a small, boutique firm as the Director of Talent Development and helped them grow from five (5) agents to 27 during my one-year tenure. I then accepted a job as Director of Compliance with another growing company, and I quickly realized that I love managing people and teaching other associates about Denver real estate.
In May 2018, I started Stairway Real Estate Corporation as an independent brokerage. In March 2020, I was thrilled to merge with the Compass family. Compass is an innovator in the real estate industry, and I knew immediately that this marriage would be best for me and my clients for many years to come. That has proven to be true as I’ve had my two biggest years as a Denver real estate agent since joining Compass and starting the Stairway Team. In 2021, my business grew 27% year over year, and the Stairway Team’s business grew 73% year over year.
When I’m not selling real estate in the Denver metro area with the Stairway Team, I am a passionate world traveler who has visited 25 countries on 5 continents, and I’ve been lucky enough to live in Mexico & Australia. I love hugs, and I am a total sucker for all dogs, most notably my 18-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Lloyd. I am an outdoor lover – some of my very favorite activities include golfing, hiking, and photography. My wife and I have hiked the W Trek in Patagonia, the Lost City Trek in Colombia, and the Alta Via II in Italy. I graduated from USC in 2007 with a BA in Philosophy, and I’m a huge sports fan. Fight On Trojans!
I am a big reader, a history buff, and a spiritual inquisitor. I enjoy deep conversations as much as pointless debates. I love food, and cooking is one of my favorite daily activities. I’m a novice barista who attempts to make daily cortados, and I’m a sour beer aficionado who likes to get weird. Do you love coffee? Ask me about my coffee business! Above all else, I pride myself on being a great husband to the love of my life, Natalie, and a great friend and family-man to all those that I love.
My goal remains the same: to help YOU take your next steps when it comes to any Denver real estate needs. I am a passionate Realtor® who loves my job, and I’m an expert negotiator with a proven track record of winning for my clients. In 2021, my average close price on the Buy side was 103% of list price. The average for the Denver market was 106%. On the listing side, my 2021 close price/list price ratio was 112%, and that has continued into 2022. In Q1 2022, my average close price/list price ratio for Buyers was 97%. My average close price/list price ratio for Sellers was 112%.
I pride myself on my attitude, my integrity, and my work ethic. I will work diligently to achieve results. Your satisfaction is paramount to me, and my enthusiasm to achieve it is contagious. I can’t wait to work with you!
